Get here with plenty of daytime left and before afternoon thunderstorms, or else how will you confirm each pole label and avoid getting lost, and cell phones don't necessarily work in valleys, and even with your flashlight, there are no farmers to ask, as they have all gone, (same in rainstorms!), and locked the gate down the hill... so you end up hiking up the hill anyway...

現在換由中華電信電話線桿「上碑枝」1、2、3…號牌行駛， 請一路逐牌確認 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 在 19 牌 注意， 因:
於「上碑枝 20」牌、「種德園」石碑， 沿著電話線右轉過橋。 部份牌子曬白，故必逐牌把握， 21, 22, 22-1, 23, 24, 25
於「上碑枝 26」牌路面隆起，慢行 27, 28, 29, 30
「上碑枝 31」牌 農民下班、雨天農路於此封鎖， 必改步行 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38

At pole Ruanbi zhi 55A go straight, NOT over the bridge, not turning right. Confirm that you are now following telephone poles Shangbei zhi 1, 2, 3... Keep track of all pole numbers
At pole Shangbei zhi 20, where there is also a rock engraved 「種德園」, be sure to turn right, going over the bridge, following the telephone line. Note some poles' labels have faded due to exposure to the sun, so you must keep track of all pole numbers the whole way...
At pole Shangbei zhi 26 go slow over protruding road surface
At Shangbei zhi 31 the gate is locked at night or during rainstorms, in which case you will have to hike the rest
